Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On October 19, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the delegation of the United Arab Emirates, led by Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. 

At the meeting, His Holiness emphasized with satisfaction that the relations between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates are ongoing and friendly, resulting in new achievements in various fields.

The Armenian Patriarch also referred to the difficult and hard post-war situation of Armenia, expressing confidence that the Armenian people will be able to overcome the existing challenges thanks to their strong faith and the support of friendly countries.

In turn, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Musallam, conveying to the Armenian Patriarch the greetings and best wishes of Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh of Sharjah, confirmed with satisfaction that the Armenian-Arab ties are strong, in line with the age-old friendship.

During the conversation, the issue of destruction and usurpation of Armenian spiritual and historical cultural values in the territories under the control of Azerbaijan was also discussed.
