Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On October 8-11, at the initiative of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, the RA National Academy of Sciences and the Artsakh Scientific Center, the international three-day conference entitled "Issues and dangers of protecting the spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh" was held in the capital of the Republic of Artsakh.

Professors of the State University of North Ossetia and Dagestan took part in the conference. Specialists from Germany, Switzerland and the Russian Federation also joined the work of the conference in online format.

With the blessings of the Patriarch of All Armenians, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin was presented to the conference by the Director of the Artsakh Spiritual-Cultural Heritage Affairs Office and Preaching Reverend Fr. Archimandrite Garegin Hambardzumyan.

The Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan and Artsakh Republic NA Speaker Artur Tovmasyan conveyed welcome remarks to the attendees.

At the conference, among other topics, issues related to the expropriation policy of Azerbaijan, the preservation of the spiritual and material historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh, Armenian studies and the history of the church from Aghvan were discussed.
