Catholicos of All Armenians Received Chairmen of the Youth Unions from Dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church

On November 03, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the Chairmen of the Youth Unions of 20 dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the central office staff of the World Youth Organization of the Armenian Church (World ACYO) led by Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Tovma Khachatryan, Dean of the World ACYO and Head of the central office.
The meeting began with the Lord’s Prayer, following which, asking the Blessings of His Holiness, Father Tovma informed about the developed plans concerning to a number of issues and further activities of the World ACYO discussed in the meeting of the Chairmen held from November 01 to 02 in Armenia.
On behalf of the attendees Rev. Father also congratulated His Holiness on the 20th anniversary of his enthronement wishing productive pastorate.
Welcoming the youth His Holiness affirmed with joy, that the Youth Unions operating in the Armenian Church actively serve to the mission, enlightenment, and prosperity of the Church. Stressing the importance of the activities of the youth organizations the Pontiff of All Armenians emphasized that they are the creators of the future of the country and the Church: with their country and church building activities they should contribute to the empowerment, progress of Armenia and welfare of the Armenian people.
His Holiness Karekin II; with gratitude reflected on the active and productive activities of the central office of the World ACYO, importantly noting that the enhancement of the latter's cooperation with the Armenian Church Dioceses provides greater opportunities for the effective organization of the activities of the youth unions and implementation of the sacred mission of the Armenian Church.
At the conclusion, His Holiness conveyed his appreciation to Spiritual Advisor of the World ACYO His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Terteryan , Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of USA, and Primates of the Dioceses of the Armenian Church for the Paternal care towards the youth organizations and assistance to their country building activities.
