Azerbaijan's narrative is false. Modern Azerbaijan has nothing to do with Aghvank- Austrian Armenologist

The work "Caucasian Aghvank" in English was published with the diligence of the Austrian Armenologist Yasmin Dum Tragut and the algologist Jost Gippert. The 16 chapters of the book were authored by different scientists - linguists, orientalists, Armenologists - from different scientific institutions of the world. The book is also a scholarly response to Azerbaijani false narratives about Artsakh being agvanite. "Neither the Aghvan tribes have anything to do with Artsakh Armenians, nor Azerbaijan with Aghvank," the scientist claims.
