Within the Framework of the "Let's Support Artsakh" Program of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin 30.12.2020

The coordinating committee of the “Let’s Support Artsakh” program of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, established by the order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; under the presidency of His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Parsamyan, Patriarchal Delegate of Western Europe; has recently initiated the implementation of a number of humanitarian operations.

205 families displaced from Artsakh were provided with food and sanitary items in the Araratyan Patriarchal Diocese, as well as, in the Dioceses of Shirak, Gougark and Armavir, through the Social Services Office of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The assistance will be provided in the coming four months, and it will also include the payment of the utility bills for these families sheltered in Armenia.

On the occasion of the New Year and Christmas, another program of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, worth of 250.000 USD (two hundred fifty thousand US dollars), will be implemented, within the framework of which, the pastors in the Armenian dioceses and the Artsakh Diocese will distribute gifts to 18.000 children from the families displaced from Artsakh, as well as families of killed, wounded servicemen, missing or captives.

The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has recieved a number of donations from the dioceses around the world as an assisstance to the program.

The Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan has donated seven million three hundred fifty thousand rubles (7․350․000 RUB), the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America – fifty thousand US dollars (50.000 USD), the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America – fifty two thousand seven hundred fifty US dollars (50.000 USD), the Armenian Diocese of Canada - fifty thousand US dollars (50.000 USD), the Armenian Diocese of Australia and New Zealand – thirty-three thousand US dollars (33.000 USD),  and the Armenian Diocese of Germany has transfered fifteen thousand euros (15.000 EU).
