The Catholicos of All Armenians visited the Saint Sargis monastery complex of Ushi community of Aragatsotn Diocese

On April 20, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; visited the St. Sargis monastery complex of Ushi community of the Aragatsotn diocese.
The complete restoration works of the monastery complex are being carried out with the sponsorship and support of the Vardanyan and Mkrtchyan families. The authors of the project are restoration architects Samvel Ayvazyan and Amiran Badishyan. In the first stage, the Church of the Holy Mother of God of the monastery complex will be restored.
During his visit, His Holiness got acquainted with the ongoing works.
The Armenian Patriarch also conveyed his blessing to the benefactors, architects and builders of the project, wishing that the works will come to a successful end, and that this sacred place of pilgrimage will strengthen the hope and faith of our people with its miraculous power and be a guardian and helper to overcome the current difficult trials.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Grace Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, Director of the Administrative and Economic Department of the Mother See, His Grace Bishop Musegh Babayan and Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin.
