The Catholicos of All Armenians Received the Newly Appointed Ambassador of the Dominican Republic

On March 30, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos (residence: Moscow) in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
His Holiness, conveying his blessings and congratulations to the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment, wished him an effective mission in favor of the formation and strengthening of Armenian-Dominican relations.
During the meeting, the newly appointed Ambassador presented his future plans to His Holiness, emphasizing especially the cooperation in the economic and tourism sectors. Ambassador Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos assured that he will make efforts to further develop the cooperation with Armenia in various fields and strengthen the warm friendly relations between the two states.
The Catholicos of All Armenians reflected with gratitude on the prospective plans of the Ambassador, expressing confidence that they will contribute to the close cooperation of the two countries.
During the conversation, issues related to the complex situation in the region, the security issues facing the Armenian people, and the preservation of the Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage in the territories under the control of Azerbaijan were discussed. His Holiness particularly emphasized the consistent steps of the international community in preventing the dimensional policy of Azerbaijan and establishing peace and stability in the region.
