Catholicos of All Armenians Congratulates His Holiness Kirill I, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia on His 75th Birthday

On November 20, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a congratulatory message to His Holiness Kirill I, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia on His 75th Birthday.
The letter of congratulations to the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church is stated in part; “Your Holiness, You have dedicated Your whole life, Your Pontifical service to strengthening the role of the Church of Christ in the world; to the auspicious testimony of the truths of the Holy Gospel; the establishment of spiritual and moral values in the hearts of people; with a strong consciousness of the importance of the spiritual mission in overcoming the current challenges and building a peaceful and prosperous life for the people. Your Pastoral word and instruction serve as a beacon for the needy, for the weak, and for the many people seeking comfort and spiritual enlightenment.
On this remarkable day, with gratitude we want to refer to your personal contribution to the development of close ties and partnerships between our Churches; which, in turn, is a strong message for the fraternal relations of our faithful nations around the world. We highly appreciate Your warm attitude towards the Armenian Church and the Armenian people, which is reflected in Your significant contribution to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the preservation of the Armenian heritage, and providing an uninterrupted operation of Dadivank Monastery”.
His Holiness wished Patriarch Kirill longevity and the support of God in His Pontifical service, for the brightness of Russia and the Russian Church.
