Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On June 18, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; held a final meeting with Mr. Matthias Kisler, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia, who completes his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

During the meeting, His Holiness expressed his appreciation to the Ambassador for his mission in Arme nia, highly appreciating the attitude and spirit towards Armenia and the Armenian Church during his service. His Holiness noted with satisfaction that the relations between the Embassy and the Mother See were always warm and friendly.

In his remarks, the Armenian Pontiff referred to the efforts made to strengthen the Armenian-German relations, as well as they reflected on the Armenian Diocese of Germany. 

In turn, the Ambassador mentioned that he is impressed with Armenia and its rich culture. Mr. Kisler expressed his gratitude to His Holiness for the cooperation, adding with satisfaction that during his tenure he has led many delegations from arrived from Germany to the Mother See. The German Ambassador highlighted the contribution of the Catholicos of All Armenians in the strengthening of ecumenical relations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness wished the Ambassador success in his future service.
