To get a private doctrinal degree, Rev. Fr. Archimandrit Hovakim Serovbyan, congregant of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, defended a thesis. His chosen topic "Translational religious works in 18th century Constantinople-Armenian printing" is little studied. In the coming days, under the direction of the Catholicos of All Armenians, a special ceremony of conferring a private doctrinal degree will be held in Saint Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan.
