Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 22, a meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council was convened in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the chairmanship of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, during which the question of holding the Blessing of the Holy Muron service to be held on October 1 was discussed. Taking into account the difficult situation created around Artsakh, a decision was made to postpone the Blessing of the Holy Muron and related events. It was also decided to declare October 1 as a nationwide prayer day for Artsakh, on the occasion of which a special order of prayer will be performed at the end of the liturgy in the Mother See and in all the churches of Armenia and the Diaspora.
