Clergymen Involved in the 44-day War of Artsakh were Awarded "St. Ghevond Yerets " Order

On July 15, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; a Prayer to the Republic was offered in St. Gayane Monastery, for the peace and security of the Homeland. The clergy who were directly involved in the 44-day war in Artsakh: His Eminece Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Pontifical envoy-at-large; Primates of the dioceses of Shirak, Artsakh, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Romania; Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Movses Sargsyan, Head Chaplain of the Armenian Armed Forces; 14 clergymen and chaplains were awarded the newly established Order of "St. Ghevond Yerets".
