Clergymen who took part in the 44-day War of Artsakh were Awarded the "St. Ghevond” Order

On July 15, in the St. Gayane Monastery of Holy Etchmiadzin, under the presidency of His Holiness Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; a Prayer to the Republic was offered for the peace and security of the homeland. The clergy who directly participated in the 44-day war in Artsakh- His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Pontifical envoy-at-large, the Primates of the dioceses of Shirak, Artsakh, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Romania and Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Movses Sargsyan, Head Chaplain of the Armed Forces of RA; as well as more than 14 chaplains were awarded the newly established "St. Ghevond" order.
