From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, We extend our Pontifical Blessings and congratulations to all women and girls on the occasion of March 8.
Today, once again, we have the opportunity to reflect on the great contribution of women to their families, to our national, ecclesiastical, state and public life; to appreciate their achievements in education, science, healthcare and many other important fields. Our country is facing difficulties today; the heavy consequences of the war have not been overcome yet; and most of the hardships are on the shoulders of women, who commit their mission with patience, zeal and courage.
Dear mothers, sisters and daughters, we pray for all of you, asking the Lord to keep you healthy and with full of faith and love under His Blessings and Graces, so that you can serve to the safety and happiness of your families, the prosperity of our Homeland and our people, with the same devotion. It is due to your efforts that the current difficulties must be overcome; the hope towards the future must be strengthened; a generation with strong faith and patriotic spirit must grow; to keep the productive path of our people firm. With the Grace of the Most High, may peace and prosperity accompany you and all our people. Live in trust in God, and always with prayer on your lips: “Remember me, O LORD, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation” (Psalm 105:4).
