 From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, We bring our pontifical blessings to all of our dear faithful children on this joyful occasion of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary, and we congratulate all women on the Day of Motherhood and Beauty.

 In all her glory and greatness being Lord's Mother, Holy Mother of God considered her highest title to be the "Servant of God", reacting to the angels good news "Behold, the Lord's handmaid".
The spirit of love and obedience of the Holy Mother of God has inspired and still inspires our mothers in their devotion and faithfulness towards their children and families.

 Indeed, mothers are the preachers of 
God's love and care in our families.

 Dear mothers and sisters, the year 2019, which is declared as the Year of Family, is another occasion to reassess and re-evaluate the responsible, but also exemplary sweet mission that you have in family solidarity, education and upbringing of generations and the future of our people.

 We extend our prayers to God that the women who were gifted with motherhood embrace their new born babies with happy and peaceful hearts, and that all women and young ladies follow the example of the Holy Mother and live a pious and virtuous life, in prosperity and happiness.

 May our Heavenly Lord keep healthy all women, our mothers and sisters in Christian virtues and keep Armenian families strong and steadfast.
