The work of the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops Launched in Vatican 08.10.2023
On October 7, the work of the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in the Vatican began with a prayer dedicated to Artsakh.
 
464 participants from different countries and dioceses of the world participate in the Ordinary General
Assembly, 365 of them are participants of the Assembly, and the rest are guests. The Assembly was chaired by His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Parsamyan.
 
His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Parsamyan turning to God, asked:
"Grant stability and peace to the whole world and keep your Holy Church firm, so that disorder may be calmed, the attacks of our enemies may cease, and your love and justice may be established on earth.
Lord, have mercy on the whole world and those countries that are currently suffering from war, injustice, pain and violence, especially your holy land, Armenia and Artsakh."
