Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On August 28, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Councul was convened.
The meeting opened with the Lord's Prayer, following which the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessings and best wishes to the members of the Supreme Spiritual Council.

During the SSC meeting, discussions will be held related to the residence created in Armenia and Artsakh, the blessing of the Holy Muron, episcopal ordination and issues related to the renovation of the Mother Cathedral.

Church-administrative and other issues related to the effectiveness of the Church's mission will also be the subject of discussion.

During the meeting, the Supreme Spiritual Council, getting informed about the kidnapping of Armenian youths in the Berdzor Corridor, strongly condemned the next violence and provocative action organized by the Azerbaijani authorities, which is a ongoing hostile manifestation of Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian policy.
