The cross bearing the relic of Saint Nerses the Graceful was brought to the Holy Archangels Church

On December 16, under the leadership of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the procession of clergy brought the relic-bearing cross of Holy Patriarch Nerses the Graceful to the Holy Archangels Church of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the singing of hymns for the spiritual comfort and worship of the faithful.
A blessing order was held in the Church of the Holy Archangels under the solemnity of His Holiness the Patriarch, at the end of which His Holiness blessed the attending faithful with the sacred relic.
On the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the death of the Blessed Patriarch, the reliquary was donated to the Mother See by St. Gevork Church in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The Saint's relic will remain in the church until 18:00 p.m.
