Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 13, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Mr. Olivier Decottignies, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to the Republic of Armenia.

Wishing the Ambassador a fruitful mission, His Holiness referred to the warm relations and cooperation established between the two countries. His Holiness emphasized with satisfaction that the Armenian community of France also has its contribution to the deepening of Armenian-French friendly ties.

The Catholicos of All Armenians, referring to the difficult situation in the region, expressed his gratitude to the French authorities for their support and assistance in overcoming the challenges facing Armenia and Artsakh.

In turn, the newly appointed Ambassador confirmed that France will continue to provide multilateral support to Armenia in various fields and make efforts to provide humanitarian aid and security guarantees to Artsakh.
