Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On December 2, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the members of the Armenian branch of the French organization "SOS Eastern Christians", led by the head of the branch Corantine Clerkin.

At the meeting, Rev. Fr. Ararat Poghosyan, Director of the “Vatche and Tamar Manoukian” Library and the Publishing Department of the Mother See, introduced the guests to His Holiness, emphasizing that with the support of the organization, the equipment of the Publishing Department of the Mother See is being modernized.

In his turn, Mr. Corantine Clerkin referred to the activities of the "SOS Eastern Christians" organization in the Near and Middle East, presenting to the Armenian Patriarch in particular the educational, agricultural, healthcare, as well as the programs aimed at the restoration of Christian and cultural monuments implemented in different regions of Armenia.

Welcoming the guests' visit to the Armenian spiritual center, the Catholicos of All Armenians expressed his gratitude to the organization for its support to Armenia and the Armenian people in overcoming post-war challenges.

During the conversation, His Holiness referred to the support and assistance programs provided by the Mother See to the families of the soldiers who were killed and wounded as a result of the 44-day Artsakh war and the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Armenia, as well as to the families of Armenians who went missing during the military operations.
