The Catholicos of All Armenians Received the Delegation of the University of California

On June 12, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the delegation headed by Charles Ghailian, Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Armenian Studies of the University of Southern California.
At the meeting, Mr. Charles Ghailian informed His Holiness about the visit aimed at expanding relations with the National Polytechnic of Armenia and the American Universities of Armenia, as well as discovering new opportunities for cooperation with the country's leading universities in the field of high technologies.
The Catholicos of All Armenians welcomed the cooperation established between the universities, noting the importance of such initiatives in the education and upbringing of the young generation. His Holiness emphasized that being connected to the achievements of various branches of science and keeping pace with the development of high technologies can guarantee the progress of the country in many fields.
His Holiness noted the emerging cooperation as another evidence of the cooperation of friendly countries towards Armenia, adding that in this difficult situation of the motherland, such initiatives inspire optimism among Armenians. His Holiness Karekin II, expressed confidence that with God's blessing, the efforts of the delegation and the cooperation between the universities will have good results.
