Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On August 6, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the students of the graduating classes of "St. Gregory the Illuminator" and "Derdzakyan" schools of the Armenian Diocese of Argentina.

His Holiness, conveying his paternal blessings and love to the Armenians who arrived from Argentina, recorded with a prophecy that the Argentinian Armenian colony stands out for its special organization, zealous preservation of Armenian life and national values.

At the meeting, the Armenian Patriarch also expressed his appreciation to the trustees, management and pedagogues of the schools for their efforts in educating the students in Armenian.

At the conclusion, the Catholicos of All Armenians urged the students of the graduating classes to engage in the task of further strengthening the Argentinean Armenian community, to overcome modern challenges with their strong faith and to preserve the national consciousness and spirit.
