Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On July 9, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received a group of participants of the 6th International Medical Congress of Armenia, accompanied by the Honorary President of the Congress, Doctor of medical sciences, Professor Ara Babloyan.

At the meeting, Ara Babloyan, introducing the Catholicos of All Armenians to the participants of the Congress, conveyed information about the work of the Congress and the recorded results.

Professor Babloyan emphasized that the doctors of Artsakh also took active part in the Congress remotely, referring to the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.

Conveying his blessings to the attendees, His Holiness highlighted the importance of gathering of Armenian doctors from all over the world in the Motherland on the occasion of the Congress, by which they bring their important contribution to the development of healthcare in Armenia. The Armenian Patriarch praised and encouraged the holding of such events and the exchange of professional experience among doctors in favor of the formation of a new healthcare culture in the homeland and the development of medical science.

Referring to the humanitarian and health crisis caused by the blockade of Artsakh, the Armenian Patriarch emphasized the consistent work of Diaspora Armenian doctors to jointly protect the right of Armenians living in Artsakh to live safely and live freely and independently.

At the conclusion, the Catholicos of All Armenians wished the mission of the doctors participating in the Congress a good outcome, commanding to give priority to overcoming the ontological and security problems and challenges facing the motherland during their daily activities.
