Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On November 07, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, attended the Divine Liturgy in the St. Gayane Monastery. The Celebrant was His Grace Bishop Moushegh Babayan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See.

During the Divine Liturgy, for the sake of the clergy and laity of the Armenian Church, congratulating the Armenian Pontiff on the anniversary of the enthronement, His Grace Bishop Moushegh stated: “Thus, years ago, God and our nation chose the one who has the great dream and vision of a powerful homeland, a powerful church, the productive life of the faithful Armenian people and the grace of the Lord to implement it. Who heard the message "Do not be afraid, just believe, he will live", and proved with his life that he is not afraid, but believes, and makes the nation under his care to survive.

When I was trying to summarize in my mind the wonderful programs, achievements and accomplishments of the past twenty-two years, which were implemented due to the wisdom, vision and tireless work of the Armenian Patriarch, I paused for a moment: I noted that these are pages and pages, which should be fairly appreciated through time.

And we, that have a good opportunity to be his students, spiritual sons and contemporaries; let us congratulate our Beloved Patriarch on the 22nd anniversary of his enthronement.

Dear Faithful, I invite all of you to offer our heartfelt prayers to God during the Liturgy, to combine our best wishes with the prayers of all Armenians: with Pontifical Prayer, asking for strength, support, steadfastness to the Armenian Pontiff and the Armenian Patriarchate under his care.

Your Holiness, we all pray for you, that God hears the voice of every Armenian and gives longevity to the Armenian Patriarch. May God continue to bless us all with your mission now and always and forever. Amen”.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Pontifical Prayer was offered on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisian, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department of the Mother See, presided over the ceremony.

 Clergy and the faithful prayed to God for the Patriarchate of All Armenians, the steadfastness and brightness of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin; as well as, for the health, longevity and many fruitful years of enthronement of His Holiness.
