Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Newly Appointed Ambassador of France to the Republic of Armenia

On October 21, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; hosted Ms. Anne Louyot, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Armenia.
Wishing the Ambassador a productive mission in Armenia, the Pontiff of All Armenians emphasized, that warm relations and effective cooperation have been established between the Mother See and the French Embassy.
His Holiness stated with gratitude, that the Armenian community of France also has its contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-French friendly ties. The Armenian Patriarch expressed hope that during the Ambassador's mission the friendly relations between the two countries will develop and strengthen.
At the meeting, the Catholicos of All Armenians expressed his gratitude to the French authorities for their support and assistance to Armenia during the Pandemic, as well as the difficult days of the war and the post-war period.
In turn, Ambassador Anne Louyot expressed her gratitude to His Holiness for the warm reception and reaffirmed, that France will continue assist Armenia in various spheres.
