Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On March 28, Holy Thursday, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church commemorated the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, and the establishment of the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

On this occasion, in the St. John the Baptist and St. Vardan Chapel-baptistery of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Service for those who are fasting (Karg Apashkharoghats) was performed.

Then the Brotherhood of the Mother See, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; participated in the Midday Service and the Divine Liturgy in the St. Gayane Monastery. The Celebrant was Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Anania Tsaturyan, member of the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, who read the sermon “About Holy Communion” of Patriarch St. Basil of Caesarea.
