Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 10, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Very Rev. Cor Episcopos Patrick Sookhdeo, International Director of Barnabas Fund; Mrs. Rozemary Sookhdeo; Miss Caroline Kirslake, responsible for the programs of the foundation; and Boris Kostin, representative of the foundation in St. Petersburg.

Welcoming the representatives of the foundation, His Holiness emphasized, that their participation in the Conference entitled ‘International Religious Freedom and Peace’ held in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, once again testifies their kind attitude towards Artsakh and the Armenian people, especially during these difficult days.

At the meeting, His Holiness also expressed his gratitude to the Barnabas Charitable Foundation for helping the displaced people of Artsakh and establishing a rehabilitation center in the Izmirlian Medical Center for the treatment of servicemen wounded in the 44-day war.

Very Rev. Cor Episcopos Patrick Sookhdeo, International Director of Barnabas Fund, expressed his gratitude to the Pontiff of All Armenians for the warm reception, affirming, that such charitable events will be continuous for the benefit of Artsakh and Armenia.
