Catholicos of All Armenians Received Students of “Marie Manoogian” Collage in Buenos Aires

On September 26, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the graduating students of the Armenian General Benevolent Union College in Buenos Aires (Argentina) accompanied by Mr. Juan Balian, Member of the AGBU Board of Trustees.The Armenian Pontiff, conveying His Pontifical Blessings to the Armenian sons, was pleased to announce that the tradition of the graduating students to visit Armenia and the Mother See, which was established years ago, has now been restored. On this occasion, His Holiness urged the graduates to diligently continue their education, so that they will serve the acquired knowledge and skills to the prosperity of the Argentinean-Armenian community and the strengthening of the homeland.
At the meeting, the Armenian Patriarch noted with gratitude, that the Argentinean-Armenian community stands out with its special organizational structure, zealous preservation of the Armenian life and national values, which He witnessed during His Pontifical visits to Argentina.
The Armenian Pontiff also answered the questions of the youth.
The young Armenians of Argentina were particularly interested in how His Holiness chose the path of the clergy and what the current Pontifical service is like.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness wished the support and protection of God to the pilgrims.
