Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On June 17, in the “KarekinI” Educational Center of the Mother See, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; had a meeting with the members of the Brotherhood (Very Reverend Fathers, Reverend Fathers and priests), who arrived in Holy Etchmiadzin on the occasion of the Conference of the Brotherhood members to be held from June 18 to 22.

The Conference was also attended by the representatives from the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia and the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople.

Following the Lord’s Prayer, His Holiness and the Brotherhood members were welcomed by Very Rev. Fr. Sasoun Zmrukhtyan, Spiritual Pastor of St. Kirakos Church in Las Vegas of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. IN his remarks, Fr. Sasoun stated with gratitude that it is a great joy for every clergymen to return to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and receive the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II.

Then, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessings and welcomed the Conference participants. The Armenian Pontiff stated with appreciation that during the Ararat feasts the consolidation of the Brotherhood Members has become a nice tradition. His Holiness emphasized the importance of the periodic organization of the Conference of the Brotherhood Members for the renovating of the Brotherhood the covenant, strengthening of the spiritual life and strengthening of the brotherly spirit through interpersonal contacts. His Holiness highlighted the Conference a good opportunity to reflect on the problems of national life and the challenges facing the Church, also to share with the pastor experiences with each other

Expressing his appreciation to the clergy, the Armenian Pontiff confirmed that thanks to the dedicated service of the Brotherhood members, today the mission of the Church is strengthened in the people's lives. His Holiness wished that the coming week will be a period of effective work and joint prayer.

During the meeting, His Holiness and the Brotherhood members referred to the current problems, issues of national and local life in accomplishing the spiritual mission.
